by Hypnocrit June 13th, 2011

We all hear it when we logg in , and some tunes we have fell in love with, but who have made them?
Jamie Christopherson have been around Lineage2 from the start creating the music we all know, all from the release of Lineage 2: The Chaotic Chronicle (2003) and Lineage 2: Age of Splendor (2004) but back then he was only making the additonal music and Bill Brown was the main composer of the Lineage2 soundtracks. In 2008 he was in Collaboration with Bill Brown making the music with Mr.Song as the Audio Director, when they were making the soundtrack for Lineage II: Gracia(2008) that holds one of my personal favorites

The soundtracks for Goddess of destruction was created all the way back in 2009 with the the help with Mr.Song as the Audio Creator, as we can see Jamie Christopherson has been with us all the time creating the masterpieces of Lineage2. But who is Jamie and what else has he been working on other then Lineage2?

Whether it be writing evocative orchestral music, recording world instruments on location in exotic places or programming cutting-edge modern synths, multi-award-winning composer Jamie Christopherson has built a reputation for consistently delivering unique, fresh and unexpected scores. He constantly experiments with new ways to create music that gets to the heart of a project, while always infusing his signature style into the vision of the director and producers.

Known for his interest and expertise in multiple media and genres, Jamie’s music can be heard in feature films, video games, television shows, documentaries, theatrical trailers, commercial spots, webisodes and the occasional sideshow circus. His most notable works include feature films such as The Crow: Wicked Prayer, Ghost Image, Inside Out and interactive scores to best-selling video games such as The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth series, Lost Planet 1 & 2, John Woo’s Stranglehold and Lineage II. He has also scored several documentaries such as Goal Keepers and provided additional music for TV shows, which include The Bachelor, The Ellen Degeneres Show and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

So Jamie Christopherson has been successful in his career as a music composer both in the gaming as in the movie industry, so when he composed the Music for Goddess of Destruction he it was not his first visit to the world of Lineage2. This is what Jamie Christopherson had to say about the making of the music for Lineage2 Goddess of Destruction.

This expansion pack for Lineage II mainly takes place in a magical hunting ground of fairies and sprites. But the setting looked to me like English gardens, so I thought it might be nice to bring a little Vaughan Williams, Hayden or even Mozart into the fantasy realm.

My excellent solo violinist really captured the vibe beautifully.
